Warhammer Survivors Gets November 10 Release Date and a Free Demo You Can Play Now

The Warhammer-themed bullet-heaven game launches across PC, consoles and mobile at US$7.99, with a new Steam demo and a planned launch discount.

Warhammer Survivors has a release date, a price and something more useful than another trailer: a new demo that players can try before launch. Developer Auroch Digital announced on October 6 that its fast-paced, top-down bullet-heaven game is scheduled for November 10, 2026.

The title blends the relentless enemy waves associated with the survivors genre with characters, weapons and monsters from Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Auroch Digital, known for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, is developing it in partnership with Warhammer and poncle, the creator of Vampire Survivors.

The announced international price is approximately ₱503 (US$7.99), converted using a recent indicative rate near ₱62.97 per U.S. dollar. That peso figure is only an exchange-rate estimate, not a confirmed Philippine Steam or console-store price. Taxes, regional pricing and store policies can change the actual amount shown at checkout.

Release date and platforms

Auroch Digital says Warhammer Survivors arrives on November 10 for PC through Steam and GOG, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, plus Android and iOS. The publisher has also confirmed a planned Xbox Game Pass launch.

That is a broad day-one lineup for a relatively small-scale game, but availability, pricing and preorder offers can vary by platform and country. Check the storefront for your own region before paying. The Steam page already lists November 10 as the planned release date and provides access to the demo.

The new demo is available now

The most immediate news is the refreshed free demo. It adds two playable champions, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya, alongside additional weapons, abilities and improvements. This gives players a chance to try the core loop before deciding whether to buy the full release.

There is an important limitation: the developer says progress from the earlier demo does not transfer into this new demo, and progress made in the current demo will not carry over to the final game. Treat the demo as a trial rather than an early start on a permanent save.

A practical approach is to test whether the controls feel comfortable, whether the screen remains readable during heavy enemy waves and whether the upgrade choices create interesting decisions. Those factors matter more for this genre than the number of enemies in a promotional screenshot.

What kind of game is it?

In a bullet-heaven game, players usually survive waves of enemies while improving their build through weapons and power-ups. Warhammer Survivors uses that formula with factions and heroes from two Warhammer settings. Its Steam listing advertises more than 40 playable characters and over 75 weapons, alongside multiple stages, bosses, collectibles and secrets.

The game promises a mixture of futuristic firearms, melee weapons and magical attacks. The studio has also shown the Gloomspite Gitz as a newly revealed enemy faction, adding goblin-like foes, Squigs and larger monsters to the chaos. These are advertised features, not independently reviewed final-game content.

For Warhammer fans, the appeal is obvious: recognizable factions without the commitment of a long strategy campaign. For players who have never touched Warhammer, the important comparison is the game structure rather than the lore. It is designed around repeated runs, experimenting with builds and trying to survive increasingly difficult waves.

Price, discounts and Philippine buying advice

Auroch Digital lists £6.39, US$7.99 and €7.49 as announced prices, while warning that regional and platform prices may differ. At an indicative ₱62.97 per dollar, US$7.99 is about ₱503. This conversion should not be mistaken for official Philippine MSRP.

The developer says a 10% discount is planned for Steam during the first week after launch. Preorder discounts are also available on selected console platforms, with different schedules by region. It is better to wait for the Philippine storefront listing than assume the U.S. promotional price or discount will apply automatically.

If you already subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, check your region's catalog on launch day before purchasing a separate copy. The announced Game Pass inclusion may make the game cheaper to try, depending on your subscription and platform.

Can a modest PC run it?

The official Steam listing specifies Windows 10 64-bit, a dual-core 2.4GHz x86-64 CPU, 4GB RAM, a GTX 750 or equivalent GPU and 5GB of storage as minimum requirements. These are store-published minimums, not performance measurements from independent testing.

That specification suggests the game is targeting a wider range of PCs than a new big-budget 3D release, but large late-run enemy counts can still affect frame rate. The demo is a better way to check how it behaves on your actual hardware, especially on older laptops and handheld gaming PCs.

Should you try the demo?

Yes, if the premise sounds appealing. The demo is available now and answers the most important purchase question: do you enjoy this particular take on the survivors formula? It also lets newcomers sample the game without needing deep knowledge of either Warhammer universe.

The full release remains scheduled for November 10. Until then, avoid treating the advertised character count, discounts or performance as final independent review findings. For confirmed updates, use Auroch Digital’s announcement and the official Steam listing.
