Warhammer Survivors Is Coming to Game Pass Day One for Just $7.99 Elsewhere

Warhammer Survivors is launching with two unusually accessible ways to play.

The game will be available through Game Pass on day one, while the standalone version is priced at only US$7.99.

It launches on November 10 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, iOS, and Android.

Game Pass Subscribers Can Play at Launch

Gematsu reports that Warhammer Survivors will be included with Game Pass when it releases.

That means eligible subscribers will not need to buy the standalone version before trying the full game.

For people already paying for Game Pass, this is the lowest-friction way to jump in on launch day.

Buying It Is Still Cheap

The standalone price is US$7.99.

That is notably lower than many licensed Warhammer games and puts it close to the pricing of other compact survivor-like releases.

Players who prefer to own the game permanently may therefore find the purchase price more appealing than maintaining a subscription specifically for one game.

A Demo Is Already Available

A refreshed demo is live on Steam and Xbox PC.

It includes two heroes and incorporates player feedback from the previous demo build.

Which Option Makes More Sense?

If you already subscribe to Game Pass, starting there is the obvious choice.

You can play the full release without paying the additional US$7.99 and decide whether it is something you want to keep returning to.

If you do not subscribe to Game Pass, buying the game outright may be cheaper than starting a subscription only for Warhammer Survivors.

The math becomes even more favorable if you primarily play on Steam, PlayStation, Switch, or mobile.

Cross-Platform Availability Helps

Warhammer Survivors is launching on a very broad list of platforms.

That matters because the Game Pass option mainly benefits the Microsoft ecosystem, while the low standalone price keeps the game accessible everywhere else.

The same basic game will be available on PC, current Xbox and PlayStation hardware, both recent Nintendo systems, and mobile.

The Bottom Line

Warhammer Survivors launches November 10 on Game Pass and costs US$7.99 as a standalone purchase.

Game Pass is the simplest option for existing subscribers.

For everyone else, the low purchase price means this is one of the cheaper licensed Warhammer releases to try at launch.
