vivo V80 Lite Launches in PH With 10,000mAh Battery, Starts at ₱24,999

vivo has officially launched the vivo V80 Lite 5G in the Philippines, putting a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery at the center of its latest midrange phone.

The V80 Lite starts at ₱24,999 (about US$399) for the 6GB plus 128GB version. The 6GB plus 256GB model is priced at ₱27,999 (about US$447). vivo Philippines says pre orders run from October 4 to October 16, 2026.

The USD figures are approximate conversions using an exchange rate of US$1 = ₱62.69 checked on October 5, 2026.

A 10,000mAh battery is the headline feature

The biggest talking point is the battery.

vivo says the V80 Lite uses a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery built with fourth generation silicon anode technology. According to the company laboratory testing, the phone can reach up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of calls, or 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in single app test scenarios.

Those are manufacturer laboratory figures rather than independent ByteSized Tech test results, so real world battery life will vary with signal strength, brightness, apps, temperature, and other usage conditions.

vivo also says the battery is engineered to retain at least 80% capacity after 1,400 full charge cycles, which the company equates to roughly seven years under its simulated usage pattern.

Charging is rated at 44W FlashCharge.

6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display

The V80 Lite uses a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 2800 by 1260 resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 449ppi pixel density, and a claimed 2,000 nit HBM brightness.

That gives the phone a large, high refresh display suited to video, social media, gaming, navigation, and general daily use.

Dimensity 7300e and 5G

Inside is MediaTek Dimensity 7300e with 5G connectivity.

vivo Philippines lists two local configurations.

1. 6GB plus 128GB at ₱24,999 (about US$399)

1. 6GB plus 256GB at ₱27,999 (about US$447)

The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

50MP Sony camera and 32MP selfie camera

The rear camera system is led by a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera paired with a 2MP bokeh camera.

For selfies and video calls, the V80 Lite has a 32MP front camera.

This is launch coverage rather than a camera review, so image quality will need to be judged through independent testing rather than specifications alone.

IP68 and IP69 protection

The V80 Lite carries both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.

vivo also markets the phone with military grade durability testing. As with any water resistant phone, the rating should not be treated as permanent waterproofing because resistance can decline with wear and damage.

The phone is offered in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black.

Philippine pre order offers

vivo Philippines says customers who pre order between October 4 and October 16 can receive the following benefits.

1. Limited edition vivo Buds Air3 worth ₱1,799 (about US$29)

1. A ₱1,000 (about US$16) pre order discount

1. vivo Silver Membership privileges through the vivo Store app

1. A four year battery warranty worth ₱1,510 (about US$24)

1. 100GB of Google One cloud storage for six months

Customers purchasing through Home Credit can also get an additional ₱500 (about US$8) discount at 0% interest through October 31 using voucher code HCV80LITE, according to vivo.

Promotions can change, so check the final terms before ordering.

Is the vivo V80 Lite worth watching?

On paper, the V80 Lite strongest argument is straightforward: a 10,000mAh battery in a mainstream 5G smartphone, combined with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, IP68 and IP69 protection, and a starting price below ₱25,000.

The tradeoffs will become clearer once independent reviews test battery endurance, sustained performance, camera quality, thermals, and charging times.

For now, the V80 Lite looks most relevant to buyers who prioritize battery life and durability over having the fastest chipset in its price class.
