Apple's AirPods 5 are now listed on the Apple Store Philippines, with pricing starting at ₱9,490 for the standard model and ₱10,990 for AirPods 5 with the Wireless Charging Case.

Both AirPods 5 models include Active Noise Cancellation, which is a notable change for Apple's open-ear lineup. Apple says the new generation can remove up to 50 percent more external noise than AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, while also improving Transparency mode and Adaptive Audio.

The base AirPods 5 is the lower-cost option at ₱9,490. The higher-tier ₱10,990 model adds the Wireless Charging Case, longer battery life, and on-stem volume control through a force sensor with volume swipe.

For the Wireless Charging Case model, Apple lists up to five hours of playback with ANC enabled on a single charge and up to 22 hours when using the charging case. The case supports Apple Watch chargers, Qi-compatible wireless charging, and USB-C.

AirPods 5 also support features such as Live Translation, Siri AI, head-gesture responses, Conversation Awareness, and next-generation Adaptive EQ. Some of those features depend on a compatible Apple device, current software, supported languages, and regional availability, so buyers should not assume every advertised feature will work in every setup.

Apple's Philippine store currently shows both AirPods 5 configurations with a 'Check back later for availability' message. That means the local pricing is already posted, but buyers should verify stock status directly on Apple's Philippine store before planning a purchase.

For shoppers deciding between the two models, the main practical question is whether the extra ₱1,500 for the Wireless Charging Case is worth the added battery convenience, wireless charging support, and stem-based volume controls. Buyers who mainly want ANC and the new open-ear design can get those core features on the less expensive ₱9,490 version.
